Passenger Suffers Heart Attack, Flight Diverts
An airline — traveling from Cuba to Italy — diverted to Bermuda earlier this week as 50-year-old female passenger suffered from a suspected heart attack.
A Bermuda Maritime Operations Centre spokesperson said, “At 2:04am, BMOC received a call from New York ATC Centre reporting that a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner with 357 persons on-board was diverting to Bermuda to disembark a 50-year-old female passenger suffering from a suspected heart attack.
“The flight originally on route from Havana, Cuba, to Milan, Italy, landed at 2:50am, and patient taken by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.”
